Landlords & Buy To Let Investors - Now's The Perfect Time To Invest (But Hurry…)
There are a number of "bargain properties" around at the moment, which apparently suggests that now is the "perfect time" for landlords to invest in bricks and mortar.
According to the managing director of Smartlandlord.co.uk, Keshav Thukaram, the current market offers investors the opportunity to yield "great returns" over a long-term period.
His comments come after the company released its May Buy-to-Let Index, which revealed - among other findings - that the average rent received during the month was 696 pounds and there is now a higher percentage of tenants who are students.
Rising unemployment in the UK - it exceeded two million in March - has been cited as the reason for a 4.7 per cent upturn in student tenants year-on-year.
Any landlord is likely to have a large collection of furniture and other property equipment, so they may benefit from safe storage facilities.
