Property Investment - Better Than Gold?
Confidence in property investments appears to be robust, with a survey revealing it is considered a significantly better investment than shares, currency, savings and gold.
It was named by 71% of investors as the most effective asset, with gold in second place (17%) and shares third (8%).
Just 3% of those polled by the Worldwide Property Group thought currency was the most effective investment, and 1% said savings were.
Some 69% of investors believe now is a good time to get a stake in property abroad, with 65% currently considering such a move.
The United States is the most popular location, followed by Brazil and Spain, the research revealed.
