Olympic Penthouse sold for close to half a million
Jane Mosajada bought a three bedroom two bathroom penthouse at auction for £435,000 this week. The property at the site of 2012 Olympics was listed at the guide price of £400,000 but Mrs Mosajada, from the village of Warlingham, Surrey bid the higher price to secure the impressive property.
The penthouse will be rented by broadcaster BBC during the games, and will pay the new owners in excess of £117,000.
"We think the Olympics are so wonderful and exciting and we wanted to be a part of it,' said Mrs Mosajada. However, she will not occupy the penthouse until the Olympics are well over.
