Share and Share A-Like Hike
Following new research by roommate matchmaking service providers, easyroommate.co.uk, sharing a flat is no longer just for students and the pre 30’s crowd. The number of flat sharers has grown by a whopping 100,000 in the last twelve months.
If the trend continues in this positive direction, then forecasters say that by April 2013, the number will stand at as many as 3 million sharers.
The main reasons that flat sharing has become so popular seem to be based solidly around the affordability provided of sharing and the struggle faced by first time buyers to secure a mortgage and raise the money for a deposit.
