RICS Reports Fall Off

The Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS) market survey published last month shows that fewer home owners are prepared to put their property on the market due in large part to a lack of confidence along with their concerns about the current poor health of the current economy.

Michael Newey the housing spokesperson for RICS said "Falling supply of fresh stock is indicative of general fears overhanging the economy, with many potential sellers preferring to stay put for now. As a result, the UK housing market remains pretty flat with activity level generally subdued."
