First Ever Letting Agency Comparison Site to Launch
This month (November 2011) sees the launch of what is thought to be the first ever comparison website that allows private landlords to compare letting agents and agencies in their local area. Whichpropertyagent.co.uk is hoping to become the first point of call for landlords throughout the UK when they are looking for a quality letting agent to let or manage their rental property portfolio.
Letting agents that sign up with the website are awarded a rating based on a number of key criteria. Factors such as the average length of time it takes an agent to rent out a buy to let investment property, the rents they achieve, the fees they charge and the level of customer service they deliver are all taken into account in order to produce non-biased ratings.
Landlords can then input the details of their rental property and gain access to the top 4 local letting agents that are suitable to act as an agent for that particular property.
When asked why he had developed the website, James Eardley, a professional property marketer, replied “It struck me that there are lots of websites which help people to find somewhere to live, but none which put property sellers or landlords in direct contact with the best agents in their area.”
He then went on to say “In the current market it is essential to make the right choice, since wasted time with no tenant is lost revenue,”
Whichpropertyagent.co.uk went live at the start of November and is free for landlords to use.
